What is Klipova?
Klipova is a free web tool for saving videos, audio and photos from sites like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, converting video files and getting YouTube transcripts. It runs in your browser — there is nothing to install and no account.
How do I download a video?
Copy the link of the video or post, paste it into the box on the home page or on the page for that site, choose a format and quality, and press Download.
Where are downloaded files saved?
In your browser's download folder — usually Downloads on a computer. On Android files appear in Downloads and the gallery; on iPhone they're saved in the Files app, from where you can move videos to Photos.
The video opens in a new tab instead of downloading. What should I do?
Some files come straight from the site's own servers, and certain browsers play them instead of saving them. Use the download button in the player, or right-click (long-press on phones) and choose Save video as.
Why can't some videos be downloaded?
Private posts, content that needs a login, age-restricted videos, live streams that are still running and videos protected with DRM can't be downloaded with the website. Some content may also be blocked in our server's region.
My download has no sound, or no picture. Why?
Pick an option from the Video group in the quality list — those include sound. Options under Video without sound and Audio only contain just one part on purpose.
Why doesn't the file size show for some qualities?
High qualities on some sites are put together while you download, so the final size is only known when the download finishes.
My download stopped halfway. What can I do?
Download links from some sites expire after a while. Paste the link again to get fresh download options and try once more.
Does Klipova work on phones?
Yes. It works in mobile browsers on Android and iPhone; open the site, paste the link and download.
Is Klipova free?
Yes. All tools are free to use and don't need an account.
Do you keep a history of what I download?
No. We don't keep a list of downloads and don't store links together with IP addresses. Files you convert are deleted from our server within an hour.
Is it legal to download videos?
Download only content you own or have permission to use. Copyright law and each platform's terms apply to what you save; Klipova doesn't grant any rights to content.
How do I report a problem or suggest a site?
