Instagram doesn't offer a download button for posts, so saving a Reel or a photo usually means screen recording or screenshots. Klipova gets you the original files instead: paste the link of a public post and you'll see every photo and video it contains, in the best quality Instagram provides.

Your login stays yours

How to download from Instagram

    Open the post or Reel, tap the paper-plane or ⋯ menu and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.

  2. Paste it above

    Paste the link into the box at the top of the page. We find every photo and video in the post automatically.

  3. Download what you need

    Save a single item, or use Download all to get every photo and video of a carousel one after another.

Instagram download questions

Which Instagram posts can I download?

Reels, videos, single photos and carousel posts (several photos and videos in one post) from public accounts. Old IGTV links work as well.

How do I download every photo of a carousel?

Paste the post link. Each photo and video appears as its own card, and the Download all button saves them one after another in their original order.

Can I download from a private account?

No. The website only works with public posts. If you follow a private account and can see its posts while signed in, our browser extension can download what your own account can see.

Can I download Instagram Stories here?

Instagram only shows Stories and Highlights to signed-in users, so they can't be fetched with a pasted link. Sign in to Instagram in your browser and use our extension instead.

Why did I only get one low-resolution image?

Instagram sometimes limits how much content it shows to visitors who aren't signed in. When that happens we show the preview it allows and tell you so. Try again a few minutes later, or use the browser extension for full quality.

Does Instagram tell the account owner that I downloaded their post?

No. Downloading doesn't send any notification and doesn't appear in the account's activity. We don't need your Instagram login either.

Is it allowed to save other people's Instagram posts?

Only save posts you own or have permission to use. Photos and videos on Instagram belong to their creators; reposting them without permission can break copyright law and Instagram's terms.
