MOV to MP4 converter

Convert iPhone and camera MOV videos to MP4

Your file is deleted from our server within an hour. We never share or keep your videos.

iPhone videos that play everywhere

iPhones, Macs and many cameras record MOV files, often with the HEVC codec. They look great on Apple devices but cause trouble elsewhere: some Windows players, Android phones, smart TVs and websites won't open them. Converting to MP4 with H.264 fixes that.

Often lossless

When the MOV already uses H.264 and AAC, Klipova just rewraps it as MP4 — nothing is re-encoded, so the quality is identical and the conversion takes seconds. HEVC videos are re-encoded carefully with the quality level you choose.

Tips

  • For sharing on WhatsApp or by email, choose 720p and Small file.
  • For editing on Windows, keep Original and High quality.
  • Slow-motion and Live Photo videos convert like any other MOV.

MOV to MP4 questions

What's the difference between MOV and MP4?

Both are containers made by the same family of standards. MOV is Apple's format and is used by iPhones and many cameras; MP4 is the universal version that Windows, Android, smart TVs and websites all support.

Is MOV to MP4 conversion lossless?

Often, yes. When the MOV contains H.264 video and AAC audio and you keep the original resolution, we only change the container — the picture and sound are copied exactly, and it takes seconds.

My iPhone video is HEVC. Will it work?

Yes. HEVC (H.265) videos are converted to H.264, which plays on far more devices. Choose High quality to keep the result close to the original.

Why doesn't my MOV play on Windows or Android?

Many players and apps outside Apple's world don't open MOV files or the HEVC codec iPhones use. Converting to MP4 with H.264 solves both problems.

How large can the file be?

Up to 500 MB. Long 4K iPhone videos can be larger — reduce the resolution in the Photos app or trim the video first.
