Save public Facebook videos and Reels in HD or SD quality

By using the service you accept our terms of service and privacy policy.

Save Facebook videos and Reels

Facebook lets you save videos inside the app, but they stay locked there. Klipova gives you a normal MP4 file instead: paste the link of a public video or Reel, choose the quality and keep it on your phone or computer — to watch offline, to back up your own uploads or to edit a clip you made.

HD or SD — your choice

Facebook usually stores each video in two versions. HD keeps the sharpest picture; SD is smaller and downloads faster on a slow connection. Both include the sound, and both are ordinary MP4 files that play everywhere.

Works with every kind of Facebook link

Links from the Share menu, fb.watch short links, Reels links and the address of the video page all work. We clean up tracking parameters automatically, and we never ask for your Facebook login.

Facebook download questions

Which Facebook videos can I download?

Public videos from pages, profiles and groups, Reels, Watch videos and fb.watch links — anything you can open without signing in.

What is the difference between HD and SD?

HD is the higher resolution Facebook stores for the video; SD is a smaller file that's quicker to download and easier on mobile data. Not every video has an HD version.

Why does Facebook say I need to sign in?

Videos shared in private groups, with friends only or in other restricted ways are only visible to signed-in users. The website can't open them; our browser extension can download what your own account can see.

Can I download Facebook photos?

Facebook shows most photos only to signed-in users, so photo downloads are limited on the website. Videos and Reels work best.

Where do the videos go on my phone?

On Android they're saved to your Downloads folder and appear in the gallery. On iPhone they're saved to the Files app; from there you can choose Save Video to move them to Photos.

Can I share a Facebook video I downloaded?

Only if it's your own video or you have permission from the owner. Facebook's terms and copyright law apply to anything you republish.
