From video to GIF in three settings
GIFs are perfect for reactions, short tutorials, product demos and memes: they loop forever and play everywhere without a play button. Choose the moment from your video, set the length and size, and Klipova turns it into an animated GIF.
Better colours, smaller files
GIF can only show 256 colours per frame. Instead of a fixed palette, Klipova builds a custom palette for your clip first and then applies it, which keeps skin tones and gradients looking much cleaner than a basic conversion.
Settings
- Start and length: pick the exact seconds you need, up to 30 seconds.
- Width: 320, 480 or 640 pixels; height follows the video's shape.
- Frame rate: 10, 15 or 20 frames per second — higher is smoother but larger.
Tips
- Keep GIFs short — 2 to 6 seconds is usually enough.
- Fast motion needs 15–20 fps; slides or text are fine at 10 fps.
- If a platform supports video, a short MP4 looks better and is smaller than a GIF.
