How to download TikTok videos without a watermark

Get the clean video file instead of the version with the bouncing logo

By · Updated October 9, 2026

When you save a TikTok inside the app, the video gets a logo that moves around the picture plus the creator's username at the end. That's TikTok's way of crediting the source, but it gets in the way if you made the video yourself and want to post it elsewhere or edit it.

Why there is a clean version

TikTok streams videos in the app without any overlay — the watermark is only added to the copy you save with the app's own button. Klipova downloads the version TikTok uses for playback, so there is nothing to remove or blur.

Steps

  1. In TikTok, tap Share on the video and choose Copy link.
  2. Open Klipova's TikTok downloader and paste the link.
  3. Pick the video (or the audio) and tap Download.

On iPhone the file lands in the Files app; on Android in Downloads and your gallery. Our guides for iPhone and Android show where to find it.

Good practice

A watermark-free file makes it easy to repost — which is exactly why you should only do that with your own videos, or with the creator's permission and credit.

TikTok watermark questions

Why do TikTok videos have a watermark?

When you use Save video inside the TikTok app, TikTok adds its logo and the creator's username to the picture. The file TikTok uses for playback in the app doesn't have them.

Is removing the watermark allowed?

Klipova doesn't edit the video — it downloads the version without the overlay. Use it for your own videos or with the creator's permission; the creator's rights still apply.

Can I get photo slideshows without a watermark too?

Yes. Each image of a photo post is saved as an original image, and the background music can be saved separately.
